9. You'd get charged with "assault with a deadly weapon", varied rants
or some such. Or the guy would be so angry he'd hurt you more. (When I was a young teenager and hitchhiking around, I'd put in a tampon, figuring that no one would be able to rape me because there was already something filling the space. Boy was I naive.)

If she'd acted traumatized, perhaps she'd been written off as hysterical. Sounds like there were big holes in both cases. Our legal system does not determine truth, but who can present the best case, or pay their way to the result they want.
