When he saw Jimi Hendrix for the first time in the late 1960s...he said that they were THAT exciting live.

Uncle John ADORED them, even had them do music sessions for him at his own house. And I always trusted John Peel, he always knew when a band was playing and releasing records because they LOVED doing it and they WEREN'T doing it for the money.

So I'll have to say that Jon Stewart has sold out, in response to the OP question.
