16. I take 'civil disobedience' to mean: |
|
An intentional breaking of the law in a peaceful (non violent) manor such as a sit-in or protest without permit.
Personally, I've never been arrested. EVER! However, I have participated in 'civil disobedience' on a few occasions since 1966. The last was a candle light vigil in support of Cindy Sheehan. It was a peaceful assembly of several hundred people on an urban sidewalk without permit.
