84. A contested primary tends to get nasty, and means defeat and
depleted funds for the run in the general election. That is what happened in MO where McCaskill ran against Holden. Claire McCaskill repeated the Repug lies against Holden and then they tore each other up. We now have Senator no-Talent, because of it.

I agree that Hackett can win, and doubt Brown can. Also, if Brown said he wouldn't run and now decided to, then he can't be trusted as a man of his word.
