If you have your own server, I think it has to be a criminal act.

Trying to think if actual sex with animals is criminal. It probably is. It's definately not smart from a health standpoint. STDs originally came to us from sheep and lonely shepards.

Also it could be considered cruelty to animals because a human could find ways to force a frightened non-consenting animal.

But there are new obscenity "standards?" that mainstream host servers like AOL and the like are following. I don't think it's actually "law" yet, but I could be wrong.

I think they can choose to not allow you to use their server if certain types of postings (that they deem obscene) are going on and somewhere in the fine print of the account agreement it would have been there or some sort of update notification.
