26. FYI - coroners in the State of MS do not have to have any education
beyond a high school diploma -

Bodies are popping up in the gulf still (They sink, fill with gases and them float to the surface.) Work crews are still clearing debris from the streets. When I say debris, I am talking about mountains of debris, mounds of furniture, houses, trees, cars, appliances. As the crews use the claws to lift the debris into the large trucks to be hauled away, many have found bodies in the rubble. I watched as they began to remove the remains of my house from the side of the road today, the smell was awful. When the smell got really bad, we were warned that a body could be the cause. We were lucky, the smell was caused by the many stocked freezers and refrigerators that were in the debris mounds.

It was not a good day, it is not easy to watch the rubble, to smell the smell and to worry that a dead body could have laid in that pile for 22 days.
