First impressions are everything. The first time I saw the General was his yelling at the soldiers scene that Barbara Starr (who had just been flown in for this event that day) and the CNN camera crew just happened to witness. What a coincidence that at the same moment Barbara Starr and her entourage hit the streets of New Orleans this General launches into his cigar-chomping tirade on them confused kids. Wasn't that something?
I don't believe in coincidences. And the Generals performance was not very good. To be honest I have watched more convincing games of three card monty on the street corners of Chicago. I know a show for the cameras when I see one. And we all know our military does that.
Just my 2 cents.
