I have a lot of respect and affection for our military. They usually impress me as having smarts and discipline and an almost romantic sense of duty to country. I really don't have any trouble reconciling those sentiments with my screaming unreconstructed Liberal political beliefs. The problem happens when these mostly pretty good guys are used and abused by schmucks like prezident Bunnypants and his little friends.
Besides, I think General Honore's Louisiana accent is cool. (It's been nice listening to so many authentic southern accents after all these interminable years of Fake Texan.
