32. The old ladies in wheelchairs?
The old people with dementia? All those people stranded in aged care facilities on Esplanade Street? The mothers with babies? Fats Domino? Aaron Neville's three missing nieces?

All those people who were left behind in the hospitals? The people who didn't have cars or a way to pay for transport? The proportion of those who didn't leave because they're the ones who never leave in a hurricane?

For days now I have looked at every single photo I have been able to find from New Orleans, because I am trying to find someone. I see the people who are there and being rescued. Some might have criminal records, but that wasn't the main reason why people stayed behind, by any measure.

What an inhuman piece of excrement. He's breathing air a kid on a respirator could be breathing.
