Gotta tell you about this dream I had last night

Not sure if this should be in the lounge or general discussion. But it's so bizarre, I thought what the hell...

I'm a high school counselor, and this time of year is sheer hell. This is a time of preparation for the opening of school, and doing master scheduling is a major pain. Lot of 12 hour days, and I worked on it for 6 hours yesterday in my office (it's very quiet in the office on a Saturday with the phone not ringing). You just have to keep working on it to make it right. When you get it together, it becomes a minor miracle.

Anyway, the dream last night combined my anxiety with the opening of school with the frustration of George W. Bush and his followers in charge of our nation. Seems that in my dream, I attended the first faculty meeting of the year. In walks George Bush, announcing himself as the principal of my school. I noticed the faculty in my dream was much larger than anticipated. Bush sat behing a desk, and instead of addressing opening school day procedures, he starts talking about "supporting our efforts against terrorism" and the war in Iraq. And to clinch it, Bush ends by saying something to the effect that all veterans in the room needed to stand up!

With that, Bush stands and is all of a sudden in a flight suit, and every aisle in front of me stands men in veteran's type clothing facing the audience. In front of me were two bedraggled, long haired Vietnam veteran types. I ask them if they're new faculty members. They laughed and then said, "No, we're just plants."

What do you think? Amateur psychologists, this is your chance.
