27. To me, the proper thing for a host(ess) to do when faced with a caller
who is thick as a brick, not "getting it" or running the conversation in circles, is just to say "we're going to have to move on, thanks for the call" and then cut off if necessary.

As rude as this seems it's much better than calling the caller names, especially when they're "on your side".
