25. A story from the midwest.
It is ridiculous, it seriously is. My point was just that the story was not from here.

After the London bombs this small midwest town where I live went totally nuts. Every bus was checked at every stop, every business was checking the trash cans. Every news time devoted a slot to interviews of terrified people. It was the damnedest, stupidest thing I had ever seen. Now out here we get pounded constantly with fear. Your crops will get dusted with something horrible, they will come and anthrax your livestock. The university is doing studies with articles in the paper all the time about what the "terrorists" might so to us. Top that off with a heaping helping of Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts and you got the reason why rural areas here are always frightened. Add to that a generation of farmers who have spent their hours in their tractors listening to Rush and Hannity because that is all they had to listen to and you have the reason that everyone out here seems unreasonable.
