So we're talking a couple of days ago and I tell him Bush is a crook and he tells me: "So. If you were driving by and you saw someone beating up a little old lady, you wouldn't stop to help?" I said "What does that have to do with anything? Bush invaded a country that was at peace with us?"

He walks away. So today, we get a chance to talk and his 13-year-old nephew comes up. Smart, good-looking kid, asking questions about all sorts of things. When the kid goes back to whatever he was doing, I say to my friend "Better keep him away from Rumsfeld."

Boy, that got him hot. "He's a good Republican," is what he replied. As if somehow being a good Republican (which we do need more of) would protect him from these NAZI bastards.

I think he realizes the truth about the BFEE. Still, he'll be sore surprised to discover that even being a NAZI is no protection from their evil. His own son is 8 years of age. His eyes showed he understood what I meant.
