The Interrogators: Task Force 500 and America's Secret War Against Al Qaeda
Chris Mackey

Chris Mackey talks about his experiences serving as an interrogator for the U.S. Military in Afghanistan. In his book, "The Interrogator," the author recounts incidents that ocurred between soldiers and the Afghan prisoners of war held at Bagram Air Base. Mr. Mackey details these encounters and describes his role as a senior interrogator. The author answers questions from the audience following his discussion. This event was hosted by Robin's Bookstore in Philadelphia.

Author Bio: Chris Mackey began his career with the U.S. Army as an interrogator at the age of seventeen. After September 11, 2001 he was assigned to Task Force 500 and sent to Kandahar, Afghanistan as a senior interrogator.
