"military" coup to get FDR out of office. FDR was tired of using American troops to protect American corporate interests around the world.
If it hadn't been for Gen Smedley Butler, Hitler would have been in a perfect position to win all of Europe and we might even be speaking German right now.
The Bush family and all their cronies, Dulles, Harriman and the whole crew were in on the plot as well. It is a good bet that they were involved in every assassination of a prominent political figure since WWII. JFK was also threatening to pull back the American military protection of corporate interests in South America. It sealed his death warrant.
Remember Eisenhower warning about the military/industrial complex? He knew what he was talking about. He even specifically mentioned oilmen in Texas, and the disassembling of Social Security.
