Reply #9: Randall Terry is a pure scumbag..

I was a prochoice activist in the late '80's and frequently, along with other pro-choice groups spent many a day countering Randall Terry's antics running 'Operation Rescue'. He would lead his bussed- in hundreds of fundamentalist loonies from around the country to block women's health care clinics, chain themselves to the doors, crawl call in bomb threats, hassle and threatened women walking into the clinics. I've been near him when he was arranging his minions for the camera, he was always glib, press crazy, and arrogant. We once surrounded him outside a hotel in NYC where he had just given a press conference (complete with taking out a mummified fetus out of a box) and heckled the hell out of him. Now of course, he's a has-been, deserter of his own gay child, on a second comeback. It's fucking disgusting that hi sugly mug is even back in the news. It says a lot about Terry Schiavo's parents to me, that they are keeping company with the likes of him.
