anyway, during the campaign, I emailed out a lot of LW, anti-Bush stuff and got dropped by half my family and many of my friends.

There is no reasoning, even with proof, they consider us tin foil hat conspiricists. And when we're in a world war, or the nukes drop over head, they will just turn to us and tell us "see? we told YOU so!"
