Real world politics is about choosing battles. That confirmation was inevitible and if the dems can't forge a relationship with her, any input they might have on foreign policy will be ignored.
It is MORANIC to assume she won't listen and vote with that in mind. I don't have a dem senator, but I would be pissed if I did and they threw away any chance at all of having a working relationship with her when foreign policy is riding on it.

Opposing judges is another story. Our domestic future is riding on that. If they don't have the stored political capital to do that, we are screwed!
