That's the difference. We're objecting to the effect of your choice on others.
I've never looked down on someone or made disparaging remarks about them because they smoke. I don't know anyone who does...doesn't mean they're not out there.
Taking shit for something you Do doesn't make you a victim of prejudice.
Taking shit for who or what you ARE, does.
