1. It's hard to be too surprised
I remember when I was in high school and they finally closed Rocky Flats and then just tried to forget about it ... that was my perspective anyway, but I lived in Wyoming and only got the Denver Post on Sundays, so I didn't follow it terribly closely.

I have relatives up in Coal Creek Canyon, and I still remember going by rocky flats as a kid on the way to/from their house. I hope the truth will be fully revealed.
