whether "Fear Factor" is quality television.

It isn't.

We're debating whether they should be sued over it. This kind of ridiculous lawsuit is great ammo for tort "reform".

I've never seen this show or any of the other reality TV shows. I just don't care for them, but that being the case, I simply don't turn the TV on. And I don't see why it matters if kids see a guy stuffing his mouth with cockroaches in an ad. That can't be more thana few seconds. If you don't want your kids watching the show, unless you have a very old TV, you can most likely block it out.
