White had an opinion on homosexuality. He chose to express it publicly. That's his right. As far as I know, he never picketed a gay person's funeral.

Here is the bottom line on Reggie White. He was an amazing football player who utterly changed the NFL by fighting for free agency and by choosing to play in Green Bay. He seemed to be a good family man. And he had some stupid opinions that he made public.

I didn't agree with him, but I've voted for Robert Byrd who has said equally stupid things about gays and atheists and once was in the Klan. I voted for Bill Clinton who executed a retarded person. No one is perfect.

White wasn't perfect, but I think you look at the totality of someone's life and try to focus on the good. And I think you let the dead rest. If he was as evil as you think, he's getting his reward. I certainly don't see the point in bashing him now.
