and his lobbying to have establish policy and legislate bigoted laws against gays?
>> Take for example, many people believe that "God Made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve". If that's what they want to believe then let them. <<
Oh brother! :eyes: It's one thing for him to have his "beliefs"... but it's quite another for him to use his celebrity status to promote such bigotry.
>> Believe it or not the Constitution protects their right to have that warped opinion on gay lifestyles. <<
Yet Mr. White wanted to deny gays the equal protections promised to everyone under the constitution. You don't seem to care about that. Why?
>> Don't drag you own soul through the gutter by bashing a dead person at Christmas time. <<
So as long as a racist homophobic bigot can time his death to be close to Christmas time, he's safe from criticism? Do you seriously believe that?
>> In the end the man looked inside himself and apologized for any harm his comments on gays may have caused <<
HORSE SHIT! No sensible person I know actually BELIEVES that his "apology" was sincere. His apology was merely to placate the folks at Nike. When they accepted his "apology" and reaffirmed their intention to keep him on as a Nike spokesperson, Mr. White started up with his anti-gay venom the VERY NEXT WEEK!!!!
>> That's good enough for me, <<
Then your standards for measuring the sincerity are EXTREMELY LOW!
>> that man has a family, and it's a terrible thing when someone dies at Christmas. <<
Pity for his family and children. I hope he hasn't poisoned their minds and filled them with irrational hatred and bigotry.
So... explain this to me again: Why does dying at Christmas make someone any less deserving of criticism, than if they had died at any other time of the year?
