Is this your opinion or do you have some case law to back it up?
Both have to show probable cause in front of a judge. Perhaps the prosecutor felt the records would be in jeopardy.

Either way, just because "doctor's office" is attached to this case doesn't mean the prosecutor has to start dancing on the head of a pin. Sure there is doctor/patient confidentiality but guess what- When you involve your doctor in your crime, or your attorney for that matter, you lose some of your protections. It's that simple.

As for the hypocrisy angle. Let's call a truce with our right wing friends......right after we lock this fat f--ck up.
