10. I hope you are right, but having "experienced" GWB as governor,
I was sure there was no way he could be elected president, since people could surely see through his cowboy veneer to the shallow evil beneath... After 2003, I was sure folks were seeing through the lies that had killed so many in Iraq, so I had no doubt that he would lose re-election. Sorry to be so cynical. I just don't see what is holding them back from doing anything at this point -- as long as he doesn't cause his corporate masters to lose money, they could care less if he institutes a draft and invades Syria and Iran. And one more "terra-ist" attack here, and I suspect the majority of the public would buy right in. Like I said, sorry to be so cynical, but this is my gut feel on what the next four years is holding for us.
