that everything they've been taught is wrong - number one being that the vengeful man-god doesn't exist. Unfortunately, the only way to demonstrate that is to have a great big horrific worldwide apocalypse, after which Jesus does not descend from the sky in a grand feat of physical law defiance for all to see. And even then they wouldn't believe it. They'd just figure he changed his mind because the rest of us were too wicked, or it wasn't the real deal.
