However, you can talk all kinds of trash about, for example, Jesse jackson or Al Sharpton. Criticizing them is not being racist at all; you are just pointing out what stupid liberal wack jobs they are.

By the way, Armstrong Williams is a stupid right-wing wack job. Racism isn't just being unfairly critical of people you don't like because of their race; it's being unfairly uncritical of people you do like because of their race. Clarence Thomas is a crappy Supreme Court justice, and his crappiness would be equally obvious if he were white. He never says a word during oral argument; he seems to have no original ideas, but merely signs on to whatever Scalia writes; and his career before hitting the big time was quite undistinguished (never mind Anita Hill). I think he can fairly and objectively be called a crappy justice. IMO, Armstrong Williams is the racist, not Harry Reid.
