286. I heard your wonderful mother speak in Scranton.
What grace and decency she had as she addressed the crowd of high school students, volunteers and others at Scranton High School. I was unprepared for how inspiring she was as she spoke of her anti-apartheid efforts as a young student. The media has not done justice to this good woman.

As for your stepfather, he is an honorable man. May he have a long and effective career in serving this country.

And I wish the best to you, your two brothers, and your entire extended family.
