9/11 was the best thing that ever happened for Bush politically, I recall in an interview before the election, Cheney said in order to get public support for a war in Iraq, you would need a Pearl Harbor type of attack. I think Bush had knowledge and let it happen, alot of this feeling has alot to do with how he reacted when he was told while reading a book in a school in Florida. He later said that he seen the first plane crash on TV and he said he thought it was a really bad pilot, the problem with that is on that day, there was no footage of the first plane going into the tower. I don't have any links to back this up, but I can assure you this is the absolute truth.
