My sister is pretty well off and she's oh-so-pissed she can't use her frequent flyer miles to visit my parents cross country next month for our get-together. She expects my 70's-old parents to pick her up at an airport 2 1/2 hours away from their home at 11:30 PM.

I say she should rent a freaking car. She can afford it and it's the right thing to do. Also, if she paid a little more (money she has) she could take a commuter to a closer airport for them to pick her up.

Sometimes blood is not thicker than water.

How do I intervene?
