Then again, will it change the mind of any swing voters? The reality is that on the superficial level, it looks like an attempt to outdo the commander-in-chief with some outdated naval vessel that's even older than Kerry himself. There's nothing clunkier than low-budget action pictures...

To the vast sweep of society, the facile is all that'll be seen, and that facile message is: "I'm a lame-o copycat".

If it stimulates discussion about and debunking of the reality of Junior's swaggering adventurism, then fine, but remember this with national politics: follow your instinct. My gut tells me this is silly.
