THE Taliban regime may be the current target in America's war on terrorism but the Bush administration is already building a case against a much bigger foe - Iraq.

NEW YORK (CNNmoney) - The U.S. Department of Defense Friday awarded Lockheed-Martin Corp. a contract that could be worth upwards of $200 billion to build its new radar-evading Joint Strike Fighter.

Rumsfeld, who briefed reporters during a visit to Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. - home of the B-2 stealth bomber, denied a news report Thursday claiming that Lockheed Martin had beaten out Boeing. The winner is scheduled to be announced Oct. 26.

Rumsfeld, who has recused himself from the acquisition decision because he still owns some illiquid investments, was asked first if Lockheed Martin had clinched the program, and then if Boeing would be offered a minority share of the contract.

If I ever figure out how to remove an internal hard drive from a fried computer and get the info off it....I have 1000's of files...but until then I'll just add a few tidbits and keep this thread kicked up the food chain...

Prior to this time there were also the "secret" trips by Rumsfeld and some lucrative military contracts with South Korea that got "slipped in". Don't have links for these yet.

Our "Shadow Government" was being formed.
