a true democratic solution...

put it to a VOTE

If the people in the state vote to allow it, let them keep it.

The Constitution (correct me if I'm wrong) says CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RELIGION.. etc etc etc

I don't see the law saying anything and everything related to religion must be banished from all public institutions..

We've had "In God We Trust" on the currency for 200+ years and I haven't heard any atheists complain about it. If the fundies want their damn statue, let them have it.
