It has to do with the legitimacy of our government!
As the mother of three children who voted three different ways in the 2000 s/election, I find it most disconcerting that some would try to reduce this issue to partisanship. All of my children had valid reasons for voting the way they did and could come-up with well-reasoned arguments to support their political perspective. The fact that reason and perspective (each individual vote) could be disregarded by possable rigging of an election is what frightens and angers me.
On behalf of my children and myself...within the framework of having one's vote count toward shaping a vision of the future...You look beautiful to me, Bev.!
ps. I think I'm going to try to write a letter to the editor, something I've never done before. Thanks again for your work.
