perhaps, in your opinion, i violated some social norms of the internet (as if that statement isn't a per se contradiction in terms). i do also understand the concern of people over-using caps, just as they over use subject lines such as "as me anything" or devolve into tourette's-like rhymes to earlier posts, yet i am unaware of any explicit prohibition at DU regarding the use of CAPS or exclamation points in subject lines. please feel free to direct me to any such rules.

the simple fact is, your original response involved none of those issues. your criticisms are noted, but, even based on your more detailed critique, there is still nothing to indicate i was telling people how to feel or think, as your original message decried. admittably, i was using an attention grabbing style, but that does not equate to telling people how to think or feel in anyway.
