4. Bush not about to give up the Presidency even with the mandate of the vote
Bush will do anything to keep the Presidency. He will use chicanery to attempt to make the election appear legal if he can. Even if he can't, he will still do whatever it takes, legal or illegal.

The best that I am hoping for is that the news media continues to predict a close election with the President winning a squeaker. At least then the elections may have a decent chance of playing out.

If the Bush's re-election chances appear totally hopeless, we might then be in a world of trouble. Marial law might get declared, or who knows what might happen in order for him to keep the Presidency.

However it plays out, things are going to get very nasty.
