13. Another interesting scenario
Your comment about Bush bailing to the private sector brings up another interesting scenario.

Tenet knows the BA distorted intelligence to lead us to a war of choice... but in the interest of avoiding the national upheaval of a criminal president quits to temporarily take the heat and holds his tongue... but as a condition requires Bush to come clean at a certain point and quit the job. Tenet ends up looking great, CIA exhonerated, Bush out (which RNC probably wants anyway...a losing horse), smoother transition than if we tuned into CNN to see Bush being led away from the White House in irons (a true national disgrace which Tenet or most patriots would like to see avoided).

All's well that ends well in Tenet's mind...and there's some justice in it. Sounds better to me than leaving for undisclosed "personal reasons".

Reasonable or have I been reading too many conspiracy theory posts?
