poorly in the recall fiasco. Well, not poorly - I'm a too well practiced diplomat - it sucked. So many liberal, progressive, moderate political folks here in CA lined up to participate in a "people power" recall which would only have one outcome, a Republican governor...'cause they didn't like Davis, who was not the architect of the energy scam disaster in the first place...and 'cause they could. That's not responsible politics, or even astute politics. That's vanity politics.
