I'm just sick. I can't even begin to imagine how someone gets to a point where they think "I can kick and beat this stranger because they are less than human."

What do you think accounts for that kind of cruelty?

I blame Bush for ALL of this, and in part, I think these soldiers bought in to the "Osama/Saddam" connection. The poor Iraqis have paid for the sins of a lot of people, haven't they?
