the pragmatic approach IMHO is way too safe... it is the one reason that while I agree with the praise of this speech... the restraint bothers me. I understand the restraint... but let's also face it the democrats throughout the years have proved themselves too complicit when push came to shove, regardless that their hearts might be in a better place. The democrats were given the opportunity to take pretty much this same cabal down during Iran contra. For reasons we do not know, they chose not to... so that a decade later we could watch this same party impeach Clinton over a blow job in the oval office.

Sorry...the democrats have some proving to do. Before I am going to jump up and down by a speech from a politician who is not running. Time will tell.
