Atta "trained" at Huffman three different times, as well as at two or three other flight schools, and yet he already had a pilot's license before entering the country, and was given instructor's privileges at Huffman. It doesn't make sense, unless he was doing something other than train, that needed a cover, and that required flying.

Did you see the recent headline, "Islamic terrorists linked to Italy Mafia group" (http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L19622509.htm)? (Thread about it here in LBN: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=102&topic_id=497430). Organized crime in a drugs for guns trade with Islamic terrorists sounds like a familiar story, and is only missing a covert intelligence component to close the circle. And that seems to be the story of Atta in Florida.

Thanks for posting those documents, seemslikeadream; I hadn't seen them.
