| 17. My dad brought that statue home after WWII |

He was released from a POW camp in Germany when the war ended and spent a week in Paris before returning home. I remember that figurine well as a child.
 The world famous Manneken Pis has been performing since 1619. The statue is very often dressed. He has a wardrobe of more than 600 costumes, which are all preserved in the City Museum at the Grand Place. Check this out: http://www.manneken-pis.com/mainen.html |
