Senators voted for it? IF you read the OP you will see I mentioned that the GOP have been filibustering every bill the Dems put up. Their objective has been to kill any recovery from the economic disaster THEY CREATED so they can campaign saying: "Look what the Democrats couldn't do to fix the Great Recession".

HIs saying their ideas consist of "no we can't" - Given their astounding destructivism, given the bad economic situation - which they created - I don't think anybody could call his statement an 'attack'. Anybody, including the President, should be allowed to criticize the GOP, without having their statements being called an 'attack' which implies they are extreme and perhaps without any legitimacy. Ifill's characterization of the President's remark as an 'attack' was unfounded.

Ifill is a whore for the GOP. PBS is grovelling for dollars.
