They weren't covered by the media.
Also, last summer there was an Independent Trucker protest where they blew their horns outside the Capital. While it was going on the Press (such as it is) went to great pains to silence the sound of the horns blowing in the background of interviews around the city. But, if you listened carefully you could still hear it.
