5. Thank you, Uncle Joe. I am glad to have those point up front on
DU. I have been an Al Gore fan for many years. From the time he ran in the primaries against Clinton and since I read his prescient book, Earth in the Balance. Number 1, I totally disagree with the writer that says that the environment will not be an important issue in the next presidential election. If it isn't, God help us all, because it may already be too late, but even the most conservative climate scientists do not give us more than 10 years to reverse our destruction of the earth. (Unless, of course, the scientists are hired by W.) In addition, Al Gore won the election. That is clear to even the dimmest bulbs; he was cheated. As to Tennessee, Bill (cat killer) Frist was in charge of the election there for Bush. Of course, Al was out everywhere. Frist did the same thing in Tenn that Jeb did in Florida. He sent letters to the blacks giving them the wrong date, the wrong location, got them off the rolls, and put up road blocks in the mostly black neighborhoods. Frist's efforts were probably not as egregious as Jeb's, but they were nonetheless malicious and illegal. The Pugs in this country (at least their leaders) are nothing but slimy crooks today. I love AL GORE. I doubt he thinks he can do the most good as a candidate, but if he runs, I will work my buns off for him.
