given a choice, a real choice, most people would like pot legalized and controlled (taxed) and sold just like alcohol and cigarettes. If one were to want harder refined drugs then getting a prescription from a mental health professional would not be to bad an idea.. Let's reserve prisons for the violent offenders and move the 'white collar criminal' into a program where they can work off their debt to society, say... slavery.
