3. One of the reasons I don't romanticize the past.
Outhouses and wiping hiney with newsprint. My god, even with Charmin, indoor plumbing, and wet wipes I still get a rash now and then. Can you imagine how miserable I would have been walking out of Egypt and wandering in the desert for 40 years?
