One top exec received $6.4M. At least a dozen others receiving around $1M have already left the company -- since SUNDAY.
As far as your second question, aren't these the bonuses that were negotiated in 2008? That ones that we've been told we cannot *legally* renegotiate or break? Bullshit -- Kuttner pointed out this evening on Newshour that Liddy renegotiated some of these contracts to lesser amounts. MUCH more could have been done.
Kuttner also pointed out that billions more have gone from AIG to prop up foreign banks. I don't even know if most Americans are aware of that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone. I can't keep up with the gory details.
