33. And the rest of the world's opinion of the United States...

No doubt AIPAC and the "chickenshit hawks" in Congress will applaud the action of Israel and further fuel the situation. Reality is for over 50 years we have done very well by the "war" in the Mideast - the bottom line is that there is no profit in peace. And that is what the world most likely will finally see.
To willfully deny security to a former president of an ally says all that needs to be said finally about Israel as well as AIPAC and its supporters in Congress.
We talk about democracy and yet when a democratic vote elects a person or party we don't like, suddenly we no longer talk about democracy.
The United States should have put the 1947 Partition Plan on the table a long time ago and told Israel, and everyone else, to take it or leave it.
Better to declare war on Palestine the state if it were to attack Israel than declare war on Palestinians the people and we have consistently done the latter. Just as we do everywhere else. Including Afghanistan and Iraq. Neither of which ever threatened us or attacked us. So there was no basis to declare war on Afghanistan or Iraq. Which in fact we didn't. We declared war on the people instead. And told them to take it or leave it. While not telling Israel and its people the same thing.
Israel is the wild card we always pull out of the deck in the Middle East but we don't pull it to protect Isreal. Which Israel doesn't realize.
