the Shiite Arabs and the non-Arab Kurds (who are mostly Sunni) all hate each other. Ethnic cleansing will begin in earnest as soon as US troops leave. Thats why the Iraqi Kurds had better make friends with the Turks, who also dislike, if not despise Arabs. Thats also why the Kurdish authority did not make too much of a fuss about Turkey bombing PKK positions in Iraqi Kurdistan today. Every group bordering Iraqi Kurdistan hates Kurds, except for the Turks who have a large Kurdish minority and are quite willing to get along with Iraqi Kurdistan when they stop sheltering the PKK terrorist.

What the Shia Arabs are saying is that the Sunnis are toast as soon as the US gets out of the way.
